Reviews: Games/Software
We reserve the right to score a game or product however we see fit, and expect that in no way will our scores affect future relationships. All games or products received are sent to us for review consideration, meaning, we reserve the right NOT to review a game or product depending on a number of factors, including how much attention your game or product is receiving, and what proximity your game or product is sent to us in correlation to the embargo or release date of a game or product. We strictly agree and adhere to any and all embargoes set forth by game publishers or product manufacturers.
Reviews: Hardware
For related video game hardware including consoles, accessories, headsets, and more, we will NOT under any circumstances complete a review of a piece of hardware that must be returned after a set period of time, because we reserve the right to update reviews in the result of hardware failure through regular usage. Please understand these terms before sending us a game or product for review consideration.
Personal Biases
THEE upNup is an independent game journalism outlet. In order to conduct reviews and interviews, we must contact a variety of game developers and publishers. This occasionally allows us access to free and/or advance copies of games for the sake of review or preview.
Coverage of any game remains our sole discretion regardless of access provided by a publisher, including negative coverage or the potential for no coverage whatsoever if we determine something else to be of higher priority.
THEE upNup does not accept payment or gifts in exchange for editorial coverage, especially reviews.
If at any point a game developer or publisher sponsors THEE upNup in any capacity that game shall be excluded from any official upNup reviews. We may discuss the game in unofficial ways like on air during a podcast.
The views and opinions of THEE upNup are that of Ty Derk and Chris William and of those two alone.
Community Guidelines/Discord Server Guidelines
1. Don't be a jerk. First and foremost. If someone is telling you you're being a jerk, there are 3 steps to follow:

Apologize
Assess your behavior
2. Joining just to stream snipe, or spam messages, self-promotion, or offensive content, is an instant and irreversible ban.
3. We can all be respectful of boundaries. It will be up to moderators, not you if those boundaries were respected.
4. Don't post any sexually explicit material (images, videos, etc.) for the sole purpose of being pornographic. Most of us are adults, but some of us aren't and we need to respect that. If you're unsure on if something is okay to share, ask a mod first. Someone will certainly advise you. We have designated channels dedicated to mature content.
5. SEXUAL HARASSMENT IS AN INSTANT BAN unwanted or persistent sexual comments will result in being banned.
6. THEE upNup is an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
7. THEE upNup does not discriminate against race, color, gender, or religious beliefs.
8. THEE upNup does not condone any Slut, Body, Kink, or Social Status Shaming.
9. THEE upNup discord is a private discord server available to the public, THEE upNup holds the right to ban or remove any user or content we deem to be in violation of our community guidelines.
